Elmsdale, Nova Scotia is where I call home and I have lived in East Hants for most of
my life.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by pregnancy, motherhood, and
babies. My journey to becoming a doula began with the support I received from my
own doula, who empowered me to trust my body, its strength, and the natural
wisdom of pregnancy and birth. After the birth of my second daughter, I experienced
a deep shift in myself and realized I wanted to contribute to something bigger than
myself. Over time, I discovered that my true passion is in creating safe, supportive
space—physically, emotionally, and mentally—where birthing people can advocate for
themselves and have the birth experience that feels right for them, whatever that
might look like. Whether you’re planning an induction, a medicated birth, a cesarean,
or an unmedicated experience, I believe every birth is unique and should be honoured
with respect and care.

As a cisgender, straight white woman, I recognize my privilege and am committed to
being a strong ally to marginalized communities. No matter who you are or how you
identify, I would be truly honored to support you through your pregnancy, labor, birth,
and postpartum journey.

If you have any questions or would like to book a consult, please don’t hesitate to
reach out. I’d love to connect with you!

Who am I? Well, I never truly knew how to answer that until recently. It took me WAY too many years to come to the realization that Doula-ing is a passion of mine. In fact, I had you asked me 3 years ago what my passions are, I wouldn't have known how to answer that question.

Today, I can tell you, I am a local (Elmsdale) Doula who finally came to realize that has been supporting families since the age of 12 without even knowing I was actually 'Doula-ing'.

I was the 12 year old who would watch younger kids so that parents could go grab some groceries. I always loved doing their dishes so they'd come home to an empty sink & happy, cared for, kiddos.

When my older friends were pregnant, I would love going to visit the baby but making a meal for all of us while I was there. Snuggled the babies while my friends would nap/shower.

Fast forward, 2020 comes around and I am expecting twins. I would spend hours... I mean hours.. researching everything pregnancy & parenting.

See the common theme.. lol

After having my own Doula, it became pretty clear that Doula-ing was interesting to me. I jumped in, paid for the doula course, and I have never looked back. I love supporting families, whoever you are, with no bias. I come to you, meet you and support you in whatever way it makes sense to you. Your journey is not mine, I am joining you to support and not to tell you what to do.

That is me.. I would love to join your own beautiful chaotic journey!
